Ownership
From Tribute Text, a free reading archive edited by Tribute Brand
Ownership (/ˈoʊ.nɚ.ʃɪp/) is the legal right to use, possess, and give away a thing, and can be tangible or intangible things.
Tangible ownership can be personal property, land, or pet, while intangible ownership is intellectual property rights.
Ownership can also be represented as a token, such as NFT, and let us tokenize things like art, collectibles, and even real estate. Ownership of an asset is secured by blockchain – no one can modify the record of ownership or copy/paste a new NFT into existence.
