Pipe (/paɪp/) trait is one of the 6 possible visual types within the Chromie Squiggle collection, being the rarest visual type within the collection. Pipes are composed of thin slices of color which come together to create a muted shade and three-dimensional effect. They are anchored by circles of color wrapped in a wring of black at the beginning and end of each segment in the undulation of the Squiggle’s continuous line. Pipes represent less than 2% of all Squiggles.
The Pipe ODD has several stripes in solid colors outlined with stripes in black, in between is a melange of colors always mixed with black.
Pipes are knitted by hand on a manual machine in a half-cardigan stitch.
