Tribute Street (/ˈtrɪb.juːt striːt/) is a virtual Tribute Brand storefront inside MONA, a multiplayer platform for virtual socialization. Tribute Street functions as a blank slate, awaiting the unveiling of new virtual stores as Tribute Brand releases new drops (brands).
Tribute Street is a reconstruction of the famous shopping street in Paris, the Rue Saint-Honoré. Imagining society in a state of anarchy, Tribute Brand virtually vandalizes physical shops that exist in the real-world Rue Saint-Honoré and adapts them for its own brands, the first one being the virtual store for the PUNK brand.
In order to emphasize the advantages of the virtual realm over the physical, Tribute Street is a 3D experience of Google Street footage rendered in a low-poly style.
The holders can access Tribute Street and other virtual spaces inside MONA as unique-to-holder VRM avatars directly from the Tribute Web.
